Women

I just came back from a trip to the midwest where I visited my family.  I caught some beautiful snapshots of my sister being a mother.    I had some simple and profound conversations with my sister, mother, and grandmother about birth and life.  As we discussed how birth has been treated over the generations from homebirth to being completly knocked out from anesthesia to
routine episiotomies my grandma simply said  "but women are [biologically] the same."
